Time: 7:00 A.M. Location: Center Stage Alastair trotted down the side of the auditorium, and up onto the empty stage. His footsteps echoed throughout the entire room, and he loved how big it made it sound. The rush he got when performing in front of hundreds of people was exhilarating. The rush in he got from thousands of people was breathtaking. But he wanted more. He wanted ten, upon hundreds of thousands. But, he knew he would have to wait for his time. It would come soon....he knew that much. He reached at the guitar strapped to his back, and brought it around into his hands. It was a Taylor Big Baby, something he took great pride in. It cost him 5 weeks worth of pay checks, but it was well worth it. It produced an exceptional sound quality, unrivaled by most brands know to man. He played each string individually, just to make sure it was tuned. He noticed the A string was slightly low, and tuned it slightly higher. He then took a deep breath, and played a couple chords. They were produced cleanly, and he nodded to himself, and began playing a song by another band. A cover, if you will. (This right hur.)Halfway through the song, he played the wrong chord, but quickly fixed himself. He had only recently learned to fluently sing, and play instruments at the same time. Before, he'd do each individually. With the more practice that came, the easy the task became. After playing the last chord, and smiled, and looked up at the empty seats. He took his guitar off of himself, and sat it on the stage next to him. He then sat on the edge of the stage, and dangled his feet off the edge.
(Sorry it's short, I have to go eat. =])

Delilah sat in the way back row of the auditorium with her hand on the armrest keeping her head help up. She was so tired right now and had been in the auditorium since six forty five. She had gotten up at about five thirty to her dislike but got over it with a big cup of tea and some toast with jelly. She made her way to school and when she got there she had no idea what to even do. So she made her way in the auditorium and sat slumped in one of back row chairs making herself comfortable. She honestly didn't feel like doing anything so, sitting silently and possibly catching up a little on sleep was a good idea considering getting up at five was way, way to early for her.
She jolted up from her half sleep when she heard someone coming through the auditorium. She sighed a little watching as the student walked his way up onto the stage. She wondered how good he was as he reached around to his back and grabbed his guitar. He probably, obviously was since he went to this school she thought. It looked like a good guitar to her, she watched as he tuned his guitar, staying silent. After that, he started to sing a song that sounded familiar, probably was something she'd heard from someone else or on the radio. Halfway through the song, he made a chord mistake. She wouldn't have noticed untill he corrected himself for it and then finished the song.
She started clapping slowly, wondering if he even know she was there. He probably didn't otherwise... well, she wasn't sure but something different would have happened. She watched as he sat down on the stage dangling his feet. Ah, the stage. She loved to sit on the stage and hit her heels against the side, it bugged the hell out of a lot of people. Sometimes she found it quite funny.
With a slight smile on her face, Delilah made her way to the front of the auditorium and setting her stuff on one of the first seats in the first row. She walked up to the stage and pulled herself up, sitting only a few feet away from the boy. " I'm Delilah, and how about you?" She figured she might as well make some sort of conversation while she was here, and kind of already introduced herself by clapping. Her slight smile was kept on her face, giving off what some people may say a warm feeling, or maybe even sweet somethimes.

Alastair's attention was taken off of the vast auditorium, and replaced with a girl. She looked a little younger than him, maybe the same age. He couldn't help but smile when she began to clap. He loved getting praise, especially from his peers. It gave him a reassuring feeling that he was doing what he was supposed to, and to a high degree. He bowed his head slightly, as she ceased clapping, and made her way to the stage. "Thank you, thank you." Alastair bowed his head once more as she came down to the front row to set her stuff down. As she came up to the stage to sit, he moved his guitar to the other side of him, out of common courtesy.
"My name is Alastair. Nice to meet you." He scooted over and closed the distance. He kissed each cheek of hers twice, a common greeting from where he hailed from. He then moved back to his original position on the stage. He pushed his upper lip up, and dangled his feet again. "So you really enjoyed my performance huh? I'm glad you did. I worked hard, but I'm sure you heard my mistake about halfway through the song." His Italian accent rang throughout the auditorium, much to his distaste. He was sometimes criticized for his accent, but he didn't get that from this girl. He didn't see how she could be negative. He shrugged after speaking, and leaned back on the stage, using his bare hands for balance. He actually managed to avoid getting too in depth with music. For all he knew, she knew nothing about guitars. It actually weirded alot of people out.
Then he began picking up a vibe about the girl. Once his ranpid thoughts about guitars ceased, he sensed that she was a decent girl, who was fairly nice. Whether that was completely true, remained to be seen, but he was sure he was going to find out soon.

While she had made her way to the stage, the boy bowed his head and said, "thank you, thank you." She smiled finding it slightly silly, and she wondered if he took it completely serious. She usually couldn't be a little silly every once in awhile. He moved his guitar to the other side of him, being polite. "My name is Alastair. Nice to meet you." he scooted closer, kissing both of her cheeks. For a second, she was a little confused but then she realized that he had an italian accent, and it was some sort of custom there.
" Pleased to meet you," she said with a smile still on her face. She was curious on what else he did besides play the guitar and sing, not that there was anything wrong with just doing those two things. Usually the kids that went to this arts school had a few instruments or more up their sleeves. They seemed to suprise her every time. She knew she had more than a few instruments up her sleeve. About nine to be a little more precise.
"So you really enjoyed my performance huh? I'm glad you did. I worked hard, but I'm sure you heard my mistake about halfway through the song." She did enjoy his 'performance,' he wasn't bad. And sure he made that mistake but he made an even bigger mistake by showing it and fixing it. Personally, she would have left it and just remembered next time to do it right. Okay, so she half the time, she probably would have fixed it right away as long as it was a practice, if not though, she would just go on like it was right. If you don't show its wrong, then other people won't think it is. So yeah sure the people who know exactly what its supposed to be, but the bigger group of people that don't know, won't suspect a thing unless you show it.
In all though, his performance seemed pretty good. " I thought you're performance was good," she said of course then going into what was wrong. "The mistake wouldn't have been bad if you wouldn't have shown it was a mistake. Everyone can see you made a mistake if you correct yourself or show it on your face. I wouldn't have noticed at all, if you didn't correct yourself." Delilah told him this, but he probably knew all of this already.
