- FRIENDLY- Mari is extremely friendly and will talk to just about anyone for no apparent reason other han to say hello and be friendly.
- OBSESSIVE- When it comes to a sport, dance routine, or even a book or story she's writing, Mari tends to get obsessive over it and does hardly anything else until it's finished. She has a one-track mind that way.
- RELAXED- When it comes to organization, that is, she is relaxed and prefers a messy lifestyle over an organized one. She says she has a hard time finding things when they're too organized.
- PERFECTIONISTIC- Like when she's obsessive over something, she won't just stop if it isn't exactly the way she likes it. She often needs others to tell her they like it before she can even bear to look upon it.
- COMICAL- Marisol loves a good bit of comedy. She loves to laugh about things and is easily amused by things that are supposed to be silly, or even things that aren't. She often watches children's shows because she finds them amusing.

Siblings: Nina Parker, sister, age 12, very close; Antonio Parker, brother, age 17, close; Zoe Hall, stepsister, age 13, often is annoyed by her, but is good to her just the same; Josh Hall, stepbrother, age 19, he often teases her but they get along all right.
History:Marisol was the second child of Frank and Marícarmen Parker, and was born in Valencia, Spain. She spent her first five years of life there, speaking Spanish as a first language but learning English at such a young age due to her father speaking it as his first language that it didn't matter much which language she spoke first, as both were quite natural to her.
When Marisol was about four years old, her mother had another girl, Mari's little sister Nina. The family was elated, but not for very long- Marícarmen stayed in the hospital for a lot longer after the birth than she was supposed to, and wasn't doing well. Merely a few days after Nina's birth, Marícarmen died from complications in her body after giving birth for the third time. Distraught, Marisol's father, Frank, had her buried in her hometown next to where Mari's grandparents' grave would be when they died, in the family cemetery. Soon after that, Frank moved with his three children to his home state of Texas in America.
Marisol and her brother and sister grew up happily with their father in Texas despite their mother's death, and though the entire family was sad from the loss, they were able to move on, or at least carry on. Frank was worried about his two girls growing up without a mother, but did not have to worry long, for a few years later, when Mari was eight, he met another woman, Valerie. Valerie had just gone through a terrible divorce and had won custody over her children without the court's jury even having to blink an eye. The two began dating and two years later, they married.
It was then that Valerie's son, Josh, was accepted to a school in California called Hollywood Arts. The family made an executive decision and moved to Santa Monica, California, where they would be close enough to the school but not living right in Hollywood. A few years passed and it turned out that Marisol was also accepted, as well as her brother a year before her. It is common knowledge to the family that Mari's sister and stepsister, when old enough, will probably attend Hollywood Arts as well.
