operation

Hello all,

I regret to inform you I'll be having a major operation on my spine on 3 April. Because of this, I'll have slow activity all this week and will not be on for a while. I'll be a week in the hospital and will most likely not be online at all; afterward, when I'm home, I expect to be on bedrest for a while of some kind and probably will be at least another week without going on the computer, unless I'm lucky and can get on.

Basically, I just wanted to let everyone know ahead of time why I'll be absent. But I'll try and get on asap, even if, when I'm recovering, it'll only be for small, thirty-minute intervals here and there.

Hello!

The surgery was a success, I'm doing well, and I'm having a slow but steady recovery. Right now I'm sitting up for >1 hour every day for 1-3 times approximately so I should be able to get online at least once a day, if even for a short while. So though I might only get one post in per day, I will be able to start getting caught up now, I think.

Thanks to all of you who were thinking of me and I'm glad to tell you I'm getting better. Like I said, it's a rather slow recovery, but that's expected. It's not day-by-day but I'd say week-by-week you can see progress, which is good. As I recouperate there isn't much else for me to do but lay down and stay still and do nothing, so I'll have more time as I sit up more and more.
