The auditorium was deserted. Well, almost everyone was in class, so he really didn’t expect anyone to be here to keep him company. He got let out of class early since he already knew the lines he had for the upcoming play Hollywood Arts was putting on. And since he wasn’t exactly one of the lead roles, he asked if he could leave early. His original plan was getting on his car and driving off to get some ice cream somewhere nearby. But he didn’t really feel like driving, so he altered his plans and decided to just roam the school.
For some reason, his feet brought him to the school auditorium. This was one of the places where he felt at home. Acting was his passion, and he was aiming for turning it into his career in the near future. The stage was his happy place. Everything just came so naturally when he was up there. Everyone knew how he loved acting, but maybe they had no idea how strongly he felt about it.
He looked around, making sure he was alone, before deciding to try something new and play with the light and sound effects. He headed over to where Sinjin usually was during plays and various productions and started to fiddle with strobe lights.

"Justin. Jordan-" Jason sighed as he listened to the teacher say his name incorrectly for what felt like the billionth time. "Jason" he corrected. "That's what I said, go make sure the lights and music are working correctly."
The good thing was that Jason didn't have to be in class any longer, there really wasn't a downside to the situation. It wasn't like he had to stay and memorize lines that seemed to never end. He wasn't one for acting. His passion lied in music more than anything. He decided to grab his backpack that way he could just leave from there and onto wherever he had to go to next.
"Maybe for lunch I'll have like a veggie burrito or something" he mumbled to himself. He never really brought his own lunch, unless if there was no vegetarian choices. Or he would do a quick drive by and get some fast food somewhere. Whatever kept his stomach from eating itself.
Pushing the Auditorium doors open, Jason didn't pay real close attention to what was going on. His mind was more focused on his thoughts of yummy food. Snapping out of his thoughts Jason noticed the strobe lights. Now strobe lights gave the young Martin boy a headache, trying to cover the lights with one of his hands, he scanned the area for the person who caused the lights to come on.

Thankful that he didn’t have to be down there receiving most of the damage the strobe lights would do, he kept it going for a few more seconds. It didn’t prevent him from hearing the Auditorium doors open, though. He almost didn’t see it, though. The lights were angled near the door, and Beck knew that it would be blinding for anyone standing in that area. Quickly, he turned off the strobe lights, throwing the house lights on, instead. Now he could see the entire Auditorium, and the person who just walked in, clearly.
“Oh,” he said. “Sorry about that. I wasn’t really expecting anyone to come in here.. Usually it’s pretty deserted.” He jumped off the mini-platform where the controls were, picking his bag back up where he left it minutes ago. “I thought everyone would be in class by this time.” He recognized his fellow student as a year above him, but they weren’t really acquainted on a first-name basis. He probably knew Beck from some of the plays the school held, and they were yet to be formally introduced. Hopefully, Beck thought, this guy wouldn’t be too mad about the light show Beck had just put up before he entered.

"It's okay" Jason replied, blinking his eyes like crazy trying to get rid of the annoying green and pink spots that he kept seeing. He rubbed his eyes some before deciding to try and ignore it. "Uh teacher wanted me to make sure everything is working. And obviously the lights are working." he said, it was one less thing he had to check.
Now of course Jason knew who Beck Oliver was. But then again everybody knew who he was. If you didn't you either new to the school or you lived under a freaking rock. But he was a bigger question did Beck know who Jason was? Not many people did.
"I'm Jason Martin by the way." he said out loud. It felt weird not saying his name. He was use to people saying other 'J' names that he had to correct most of the people.
Walking up to the keyboard that Sinjin had rigged to play different sound effects, Jason began to press different buttons and listen to different effects go off. Of course it was fun, so he pressed like five more before he decided he was done. Setting his bag down, he grabbed his pearpod. Yeah it wasn't anything fancy like a touch one. It was a plain old one that had 8 gig on it. And for him it worked perfectly. Hooking up his pearpod, he decided to play what was currently on pause 'Carry on My Wayward Son' by Kansas. Hearing the music play, Jason nodded his head in approval.

Beck nodded once. “Yep, lights are working perfectly fine. Sounds are, too, if you need them.” He pulled a tall stool from the corner of the room and set it a few feet away from the stage area and light / sound effects area.
He didn’t know this guy personally, but they might have bumped into one another in the hallways; Beck and his friends were always around that area, if not in the ‘Ping Pong club’ room. “I’m Beck,” he said with a light shrug. “Beck Oliver.”
“You’re a junior, right?” Beck didn’t really mind hanging out with those a year above him, but it just felt different. All his friends were his age, except for his neighbors. Although he couldn’t exactly make friends with his female neighbors since, quite coincidentally, they seemed to be mostly his age and the type that Jade would get jealous of.
“What class are you supposed to be in right now?” he asked nonchalantly, while Jason busied himself with his pearpod and the stereos. Beck looked up when music started playing, it wasn’t something he was familiar with. “What song is this?” he looked at him, tapping his foot lightly to the beat.
ooc|| I'll format this tomorrow. I'm just soo sleepy right now. Sorry it took so long!

Jason nodded, as if saying 'hey cool I've heard of you before' when Beck had introduced himself. If he had said it out loud he was sure that Beck would walk away. Upon hearing his question, he added another nod. "Yup. A totally boring junior." he said, obviously joking. It was how he always described himself. So it wasn't like he was really hurting anybody with what he said.
Jason paused at Beck's next question. What class did he just leave? He mainly blurred them all together. Yeah sure he could remember each lesson and whatever homework he was given. He could also really care less. "Whatever Mr. Jackson teaches." he replied with a mere grin.
Jason's grin slowly faded when Beck asked what song was playing. Now he was mostly into a lot of older songs, sure he enjoyed songs from this generation. But older rock songs just felt like they had more soul into it. It was hard to explain. "Really?" he merely questioned.
"Kansas. They're an older band, like from when our parents were teenage. Creepy to imagine." he said trying to explain. "You might have heard this song from movies and different t.v. shows. Supernatural plays it from time to time. Mostly when something sad happens."
