- Protective He would do anything for his little brother. Nothing could stop him from helping him, no matter what the consequences would be. In his eyes family comes first, even though family isn't always defined by blood.
- Charmer He knows how to sweet talk a lady, and does often. He will flirt with anything in a skirt, but he tendsa to steer clear of girls who he knows will be clingy when they eventually break up. He hoped to find someone who will stick around but his personality makes it kind of hard.
- Labeled Bad Boy Sure he has a soft side, but he is labeled the resident bad boy of Hollywood Arts. Somehow his police record got around school, and with multiple counts of breaking and entering, underaged drinking and other stupid stuff he's done while in the foster system he fit the bill. Not to mention the leather jacket and sarcastic demeaner.
- Hot tempered He's not afraid to get into a fight, but only to protect someone he cares for. He doesn't fight for himself, because quite honestly people should know not to mess with him by now.
- Addict He's addicted to caffeine. He literally cannot start his day without something caffinated. He's even resorted to Caffeine pills once or twice.

History: Nathan didn't have the easiest life. His mom died from cancer when He was Seven. Their father was ok for a while. Sure, he drank more than normal, but he didn't do anything abnormal.
School was always hard for Nate. He was easily distracted by doodling or making jokes in class. He always played the class clown to make up for the fact that he didn't understand the material in his science and math classes. His teachers never gave to craps about the kid who made teaching every lesson difficult for them to teach.
He was only ten when his father started to drink even more than he did normally. He was ok, but Nate tended to have to do all of the cooking and cleaning around the house. He made sure his brother always had food, even on nights that he didn't. It was his eleventh birthday when his father beat him for the first time. He broke his wrist, but he never told anyone how it happened. It wasn't until his dad rebroke the same wrist that his little brother offhandedly let it slip. Nathan had been making up an elaborate story about falling out of a tree when Aiden told the teacher 'No he didn't, Daddy did that to him'. Lying has never been one of the kid's strong suits.
Nothing happened until three months later his father tried killing him and Aiden. Nathan called the police and the man was promptly arrested. He went to jail for a long time, Nathan forced him to forget the number of years.
All through the rest of middle and part of highschool he went through with crappy grades, and a crappier attendance record. He was secretly happy when they got adopted, but didn't often show it. It was the end of Nate's Freshman year when Aiden wanted to go to Hollywood arts for acting, and the kid was pretty good too, but the ladies who adopted them said he could only go if Nathan went too. Nathan auditioned with his guitar and got in, and luckily so did Aiden the next year. Ever since he's sworn up and down that he hates the school, but he really likes it.
